Personal Appearance and Dress Code for Dancers
It is important for a student to have the proper materials and proper appearance to start dance training correctly.

Hair should be pulled away from face to allow the body and head to move freely without distraction.
No excessive jewelery
Absolutely NO GUM CHEWING
All students are required to have a dance bag for all their accessories. All items should be labeled with the students full name.  We will
not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Loose fitting clothing & baggy pants cover the body lines & make is impossible for the instructor to ensure proper technique. Any questions
regarding the dress code can be directed to the instructor.

Girls: any style, any color leotard and tights should be worn for all classes with the exception of Hip Hop* and proper dance shoes.
Boys: Tight fitted t-shirts or tanks along with shorts above the knee or dance pants and proper dance shoes.

   * Hip Hop- Students may wear comfortable clothing that will allow for free movement.  Sweats, yoga pants, t-shirts, tanks etc.

Attendance
Students are expected to attend ALL of their scheduled classes.  Frequent tardiness and/or absences  hold up the progression of the class as a whole and may necessitate dismissal of the student in question.  If it is necessary for a student to be absent from class, GENERATIONS should be
notified in advance.

Make Up Classes
Make up classes are NOT available due to the fact that each class is working on different material. Therefore, students will not benefit from
taking an alternate class.  If necessary, a private make-up lesson may be arranged with the instructor or assistant for
an additional fee.

Vacation Schedule
Generations will only be closed for the long school breaks, according to the Frontier Central Schools Calendar.  Please see the Our Classes page
for scheduled vacations.

Shows
Generations has an annual Holiday Showcase in December and the End of the Year Recital in June. Students are expected to attend these with
their class.  In addition there are Show rehearsals for all students to prepare for the shows.

Additionally, Generations may offer other performance opportunities throughout the year as they present themselves.  These may include
dancing at Fantasy Island, Village concert nights etc... These performances are strictly voluntary, but can provide young dancers with valuable
performing experience.
Tuition is based on a season course fee and not by individual classes or weeks.
All vacations and holidays have been taken into consideration in arriving at the
season course fee.

The season course fee has been divided into 10 monthly installments: Sept-June
(payment 1 is due at time of registration).

**Discounted rates are available to those paying by the 7th of each month.
